Julion Okram's original imagery items are indexed as his proprietary intellectual property. Some website hosting services remove some or all of the metadata embedded in image files. This causes the loss of important information (such as licensing details, legal notices, authorship attributions, contact details, or data for screen readers and other assistive technologies that enhance accessibility for visually impaired site visitors). To compensate for accidental or deliberate data abrogation, and to make all invisible digital appendices human-legible, the original unaltered files are preserved on independent servers and indexed along with their associated canonical sources of truth (including narrative descriptions and metadata transcripts) in a central repository named Datalog.
